When you’re on holiday, nothing beats cooking a family dinner on a barbecue.

Whilst Ardlui Retreat benefits from being located at a very sheltered part of Loch Lomond, nobody can guarantee great weather all of the time so we’ve got round this by building an amazing barbecue hut which is free to use throughout your stay.

Constructed to a very high standard and based on a traditional Scandinavian design (complete with deerskin seating!), our onsite Finnish Grillkota is a great location for an unforgettable dining experience.  All you need to do is bring the steaks!

The spacious BBQ Hut also brings out the amateur cook in every one so there’s always plenty of people willing to lend a hand….and help clear up!
